Damian Fraser
CEO & Founder
Damian founded Miranda Partners in 2018. He served as Regional Director of UBS Mexico from 2001 to 2018, leading a team of 180 people in Investment Banking, Wealth Management, and Equities. Previously at the same bank, he headed the Latin America Equity Division and served as Chief Equity Analyst for the region. For several years, Damian was recognized as the top equity strategist in Latin America by “Institutional Investor” rankings. Prior to his banking career, Damian worked as an economic correspondent for The Economist and served as the Mexico bureau chief for the Financial Times. He holds a CFA and a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Oxford.

Laura Camacho
Executive Director of Public Affairs
Laura Camacho is a professional in political communication and public affairs, with experience in consultancy, media, the private sector, and all three branches of government. She has worked at the Ministry of Public Education, the Supreme Court of Justice, and the Senate of the Republic. Laura holds a law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a master’s degree in institutional communication from the Universidad Panamericana (UP).

Andrea Chapa

Jr. Analyst Public Affairs 

Andrea is an internationalist graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, with more than three years of experience in public affairs consulting, as well as in the Federal Government. She has specialised in monitoring legislative and regulatory processes, analysing public policies and creating strategies to connect with key actors. 

 Throughout her career, she has worked on important issues on the public agenda, applying her experience in consulting for companies in the technology, energy and extractive sectors. Outside of work, she enjoys playing the piano, reading and attending cultural events.

Rhys Jones

Jr. Analyst Public Affairs 

Political scientist graduated from Swansea University in Wales, UK, with experience in political analysis and strategic communication. He has worked as a political advisor, designing key strategies to engage with various sectors. He currently advises private sector clients on regulatory analysis, communications risk management and government relations, providing strategic solutions in complex environments.
